In the spirit of the holiday season our friends at Zeus Jones wanted to give a gift to their neighboring businesses on Lyndale Avenue in Minneapolis. Together, Zeus Jones and The Nerdery designed and developed a stylized map of Lyndale Avenue’s businesses that would be easily browseable and highly informative for consumers.
To accomplish Zeus Jones’ vision, the development team at The Nerdery decided on a WordPress interface to design a top-down street view. Each business has a closeup view with a personalized write-up alongside pictures of their location. Our nerds made the viewing experience seamless by pushing the bounds of what WordPress is capable of and incorporated each view into a single URL.
Though the project’s time frame was short, The Nerdery worked iteratively with Zeus Jones to actively build, test, and solicit feedback throughout the project. In the end, The Nerdery was able to work with the clear expectations and assets of Zeus Jones and help them give back to the community.
