Jefferson Award for Public Service bestowed upon The Nerdery
Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal announced today that Sierra Bravo and its Nerdery Interactive Labs division have received The Jefferson Award for Public Service in recognition of the web development company's record of spurring volunteerism among staff and throughout the web development community on behalf of nonprofit organizations through The Nerdery Overnight Website Challenge.
Founders Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Senator Robert Taft Jr, and Sam Beard created The Jefferson Award in 1962 as a "Nobel Prize for public service."
