The Nerdery teamed with agency partner Digalicious to redesign the Merchants Bank website. Their current site was outdated and missing basic information about the bank. For the project, Digalicious handled all the design work while we took on development.
Our task was to modernize Merchants Bank website and provide better access to key information and features for their clients. To manage the website’s content, we used Expression Engine as we felt it would be easier for the client to use compared to other content management systems. This was a critical component as virtually the entire website was built with flexibility in mind, right down to the last word. The client can also create global banners for the page - anything from static images to pop-up banners with tabbed content to ones with videos. We also integrated a dynamic Google Map feature to allow users to search for their nearest bank and ATM.
All this adds up to one of our best Expression Engine CMS projects to date. The template code is clean and efficient and the site showcases a number of moving parts that can each be attached to a page, allowing for ultimate client customization. Not to mention the site itself is designed to be nice to look at, thanks to Digilicious. Put it all together and you have a flexible, dynamic, and improved web presence for Merchants Bank.
